Day 1 Arrival in Utrecht, round trip to Amelisweerd and Rhijnauwen - 21 kmIn the city center you will find unique wharf canals, historic churches and museums. You can use the day of arrival to visit the interesting city center of Utrecht or to take a short but attractive bicycle ride.Day 2 - Utrecht to Weesp or Muiderberg - 42 or 43 kmAfter spending the night in Utrecht you’ll follow the banks of the Vecht past the colourful villages of Maarssen, Breukelen, Loenen, Vreeland and Nigtevegt. In the picturesque Oud-Zuilen you can visit a castle from the Middle Ages. At the Loosdrechtse Plassen you can pause comfortably. Your hotel is situated in the historical town of WeespDay 3 - Muiderberg/Weesp to Nieuwkoop - 48/55 or 52/59 kmThe day after you’ll follow the little river De Gein, through the rural area south of Amsterdam past land-reclaiming mills to the colourful village of Abcoude. You’ll pass a few fortified houses of the Stelling of Amsterdam. Alongside de Kromme Mijdrecht you’ll reach the ponds of Nieuwkoop (Nieuwkoopse Plassen). Along the river De Meije you’ll finally end up at your hotel at the Zuideinderplas.Day 4 - Tour Leiden - 47 or 64 kmIn Nieuwkoop you’ll enjoy an extra day and you can make a tour to Leiden. Day 5 - Nieuwkoop to Gouda - 26 or 29 km, possibility for a tour to Schoonhoven - 31 kmThe day after you’ll cycle past the Reeuwijkse Plassen to attractive Gouda, with its monuments, canals and squares. You’ll have plenty of time to look around, this day’s tour is limited in time. Those who love silver can take a round trip to the silver town of Schoonhoven, which is situated at the river De Lek. Day 6 - Roundtrip to Kinderdijk 51 or 58 kmThe longer tour will take you to the well-known Kinderdijk. Around 1750 19 Dutch windmills were built here, which are well kept and still in working order. Unesco lists them as World Heritage. Day 7 - Gouda to Utrecht und departure - 56 kmThe last day will lead you over dykes along the Hollandse IJssel to Oudewater. Through Woerden and past Haarzuilens Castle you’ll return to Utrecht.
