Routes

Lake Constance lies at the foot of the Pre-Alps. Behind Bregenz, you can see the mountains rising high. During this classic round trip, you can fully enjoy the varied nature, lovely towns and many historical sights. The large expanse of water ensures a pleasant, mild climate. From Austrian Bregenz, you cross the Rhine and cycle along the Swiss south bank to the cosy German city of Constance. While visiting Schaffhausen, you can admire the famous waterfall. Over the German north bank you cycle back to Bregenz.

Between 17 July and 18 August, stay overnight not in Bregenz, but in the Bregenz area because of the Bregenzer Festspiele.
