
You reach Fort de Botshol via the Vinkeveensche Plassen. From there, you follow the Amsterdam Defence Line, built between 1843 and 1914 and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. Cycle through moorland landscapes dotted with wide ponds, narrow ditches, and extensive reed beds, following the small rivers Waver and Gein. Your route then takes you back to Weesp via the historic village of Abcoude. Once back in Weesp, your cycling tour comes to an end and you'll return home. If you wish, you can also choose to extend.
