On this scenic loop, you’ll travel through Sint-Kruis and Oostburg to the northern village of Groede. There, you’ll discover a charming village square with a medieval hall church. Groede, also known as the home of Jacob Cats, who owned extensive estates in the area, was fortunate to escape the bombings of the Second World War, preserving its original character. Following a path that runs high above the narrow dunes, you’ll make your way down to the beach resort of Cadzand and Het Zwin nature reserve. Cycling along the 17th-century ramparts of Retranchement and Sluis, you’ll return to Aardenburg.
