Cycling holiday Bordeaux Grand Cru

The Bordeaux region is a paradise for cycling wine lovers. Imagine quiet country roads, rolling vineyards, mansions, castles and the banks of the Gironde. That already tastes good. And along the way, the most famous châteaux in Haut-Médoc, Côte de Bourg, Pomerol, Saint-Émilion and Entre-Deux-Mers force you to dismount for a tasting. Jam jam, that's good cycling again.

Routes

The Bordeaux region is a paradise for wine lovers and cyclists alike. You cycle on quiet country roads through rolling vineyards, past mansions, castles and along the banks of the Gironde. You pass the most famous châteaux in Haut-Médoc, Côte de Bourg, Pomerol, Saint-Émilion and Entre-Deux-Mers, where you can attend tours and taste wine. Overnight stays in excellent hotels in picturesque Saint-Émilion, for example, complete this tour. The cycling tour ends in the port and wine city of Bordeaux. The hotel is right in the middle of the 18th-century city centre. It is rightly said that Bordeaux is France's most beautiful city after Paris, but much more compact, so you can explore the city perfectly well on foot.
