After a night in Dinant or Anhée, you soon pass Château de Freyr, the former summer residence of the Duchess of Beaufort-Spontin, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Then you leave Belgium and arrive in the border town of Givet, where the scenic French part of the cycling route begins: the Voie Verte Trans-Ardennes. This path, running close to the Meuse, was rightfully named Europe’s most beautiful cycling route in 2010. You spend the night in Haybes.
