After crossing the Maira River, the route leads to the impressive ramparts of the 14th-century Fossano Castle, perched on a low hill by the Stura River. In the town center, admire elegant facades and brick Baroque churches. Next, cycle to Savigliano, where the picturesque Piazza Santorre di Santarosa awaits. This square, with its narrow tall houses and continuous arcades, has preserved its medieval charm. Quiet country roads along fields and orchards take you back to Costigliole. You can shorten the route by taking the train from Fossano to Savigliano.
