Route description

All routes of our cycling holidays at Happy Cycling Holidays are followed using our convenient route app. For some trips, written route descriptions are also available. These have been explored by our own staff by bicycle and carefully prepared. You will receive the route descriptions directly from us – first-hand, detailed, and in the original language. This is our quality guarantee. In some cases, we use Dutch-language routes from partner agencies. Even in these cases, the routes and descriptions have been checked on-site by one of our own staff and deemed excellent.

The routes

There is also much to discover culturally along the way. Our routes sometimes follow former railway lines or run along rivers. Unfortunately, it is sometimes unavoidable that a small section leads along a busy or less interesting road. In addition to a detailed route description, you will receive colored copies of a detailed map for each day showing the route. This allows you to extend or shorten the stages as you wish.

Route booklets

For routes available in written form, you will receive a Happy Cycling Holidays route book. You can recognize this by the book symbol for the respective tour. Our route descriptions include concise tourist information. Some sights or facilities may be closed on the day or at the time you pass by. Unfortunately, this cannot be avoided.

Hotel changes

In the event of unforeseen hotel changes, the route may be adjusted. You will be informed before departure or upon arrival at the first hotel.
