Day 1 - Arrival in OrangeYou start in Orange, which has the best preserved antique theater from Roman times. In your starting hotel, the young enthusiastic chef/owner lets you enjoy organically grown products.Day 2 - Orange to Saint Paul Trois Châteaux - 41 kmOn your first leg you will pass through Piolenc, France's largest supplier of garlic. On a narrow, quiet road through the vineyards, with a view on the right of Mont Ventoux, to Ste Cécile. Via Suze-la-Rousse, with its castle (now wine university), you cycle to St Paul Trois Châteaux. Day 3 - Saint Paul Trois Châteaux to Rasteau - 43 kmThe next day, Richerenches is the first town on your cycle route in the Enclave des Papes. Via the wine town of Tulette you go to Cairanne. The many 'caves' there are full of robust, robust wines. Day 4 - Rasteau to Gigondas - 39 / 42 kmAfter the overnight stay you cycle to Vaison-la-Romaine, known for its Roman excavations. You can find even more history in Séguret, the medieval town. Your hotel is in a quiet location at the foot of the hills of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Day 5 - Gigondas to Pernes-les-Fontaines - 43 kmThe next day you will cycle along the flank of Mont Ventoux towards Bédoin, where many sporty cyclists and walkers will start climbing the Mont Ventoux. Our cycle route stays down. On the way to Pernes-les-Fontaines, the picturesque village with 36 fountains, you will pass Mazan, with the former castle of Marquis de Sade. You dine in a restaurant in the center of the town. Day 6 - Tour to Isle-sur-la-Sorgue & Fontaine-de-Vaucluse - 42 kmOn the rest day of your cycling holiday you can visit a water-rich area. The water that since time immemorial flows from the source at Fontaine de Vaucluse also Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Day 7 - Pernes-les-Fontaines to Sérignan - 41 kmOn this last stage you will visit Monteux with its two beautiful city gates. Via Courthézon and the vineyards north of Châteauneuf du Pape you will then go to the historic town of Orange with its impressive antique theater. Then you cycle the last kilometers to your hotel in Sérignan. Your last cycling day goes to your hotel in Sérignan, which has a wonderful garden. Day 8 - Sérignan to Orange - 11 km - departureYou cycle a short distance to your starting hotel.
