No show

The day of arrival counts as the start of the journey. Nothing will be reimbursed for services not used (e.g. when the trip is canceled).
Liability: Happy Cycling Holiday is liable for conscientious travel preparation and processing. We make a careful selection of the various other service providers (such as bike rental companies, partners, hoteliers, etc.) At the same time, we act as intermediaries between the travelers and the service providers. We only assume limited liability for the fulfillment by these companies. Liability remains limited to direct damage.
Changes to the Route
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are forced to deviate from the published route descriptions, participants will be informed as soon as possible.
Participation
You take part in the tours at your own risk. (We therefore recommend that you take out travel insurance.) The participant is responsible for compliance with the road traffic regulations, as well as for damage that he inflicts to himself or others. The traveler is obliged to take reasonable steps to keep any damage to a minimum. Services that are not used are generally not reimbursed. Each customer is responsible for compliance with all passports, visas, customs and health regulations. We reserve the right to cancel a trip (at least 14 days before the start of the trip). In this case, we will inform you immediately and refund the payments made.
Prices
Prices are per person, unless otherwise specified, and based on two (or more) adults sharing a room.
If you are travelling alone, we will calculate a surcharge that takes into account the additional costs for the single room.
The ANVR's General Travel Conditions apply to all agreements on our trips that we offer in this program. You can find here: https://www.anvr.nl/English/travel-booking-terms-conditions.aspx

Guarantee fund SGR
Eigen-wijze Reizen/Happy Cycling Holidays (Chamber of Commerce registration number 06053735) is a registered participant of SGR. You can verify this on www.sgr.nl. Holidays listed on this website are covered by SGR’s guarantee, within the terms of the SGR guarantee scheme. Under SGR’s guarantee, consumers shall have their prepaid travel sum refunded if their counterparty is unable to fulfil its contractual obligations due to financial inability. Insofar as the agreement includes the transport and the destination has already been reached, the return trip will be arranged.
Mandatory contribution
From February 1st 2021, you, as a traveler, pay the mandatory contribution of € 5,00 per person. This contribution does not apply to children up to 2 years old. No contribution has to be paid for bookings of less than € 150 per person and individual flight tickets.
Bike rental
In case you don’t bring your own bike, you can rent a bicycle or an E-bike with Happy Cycling Holidays. You will get your rental bike at the start of your holiday and return it before you go home. All bikes are provided with a regular bicycle wheel lock and a chain lock. If a rental bike gets stolen or damaged, the client is personally responsible. If your insurance does not cover this event, you will have to pay the costs yourself. Check the policy of your insurance! Not many insurances cover theft or damage.
Child bikes
For children we offer the possibility to hire child seats or a child trailer. The child trailer provides space for two small children, or one child who is a bit older. Would your child prefer to pedal by itself, but the distance is an issue? The so called ‘trailer-bike’ is the solution.
Bicycle Hire and Insurance
Do you wish to insure your rental bike against theft? The cost is € 3,- per day per bicycle. For an electric bicycle: € 6,00 per day per bicycle. Please see the General Terms and Conditions for Bicycle Hire and Insurance underneath. This option is only available when mentioned with the Tour.

CYCLE ROUTES
The Netherlands is the best country in the world for cycling. You can go on daytrips, a long-weekend or a tour of a week or longer. How does Cycling-by-Numbers work? Which signposted long-distance routes will you find on your holiday? This is where you’ll find general information to prepare for your cycling tour.
The Netherlands has a reputation of being a great cycling destination. Nowhere else is cycling this established. There are even more bicycles than people here! The infrastructure is geared to cyclists: many roads have separate, dedicated cycle lanes for exclusive use by cyclists. Cyclists also have their own crossings and their own traffic lights. Cycle paths allow you to reach places you simply can’t get to by car. In the city, it is sensible to cycle behind each other. Outside the city, it is perfectly fine for two cyclists to cycle next to each other.
LF routes are national cycle routes perfect for multi-day cycle trips. These long-distance, cross-border routes constitute a national network of approximately 4,500 kilometres. They are signposted in two directions with rectangular white signs with green lettering. The signs show the route number, the route name and a directional arrow. The LF routes are included in the description of the tour. The Zuiderzee Tour i.e. is a combination of the LF 21, 22 and 23.
Cycling with junction routes:
• You will follow the numbers of the junctions and cycle from junction to junction
• At every numbered intersection there’s a big sign with a map of the surroundings where you can see where youare and what options you have.
• The junctions that come together are signed with white-green signs.
Practical devices
Happy Cycling Holidays gives you practical devices:
• a map with the junctions you will find along the way;
• a clear description of the route;
• a map of the Tour.
